Coinciding with the opening of the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, Fondazione Querini Stampalia reaffirms its presence in the square in front of the foundation through its public benches and Davide Rivalta's monumental lion sculptures.
The benches feature new statements and, this time, have been hand-painted with a brush, giving them a more direct and assertive character. Continuing their original function, they extend the foundation into the public realm, providing a piece of urban furniture for everyone while activating the square as a place for meeting, resting and exchange.
